American-made Furniture, Outdoor Products, Gifts and Crafts 2016
It's hard to believe it's almost been a year since I began working on All American Wholesalers in February, 2015! During this time of year it is important to reflect on what you are thankful for, and I am certainly thankful for being given the opportunity to be a part of this web site. It has been a pleasure working with every manufacturer, and I am proud to be working on a site so dedicated to promoting American-made products. We are very excited about the strides we've made on the site this year, and you can expect big things from us in 2016. We will be attending 3 trade shows in late...
2015 has been another interesting year in the gift/craft wholesale market, seeing E-Commerce continue to grow in popularity. Despite the amount of customers utilizing the Internet to do their shopping continuing to increase, brick and mortar stores are continuing to succeed. This can in part be attributed to one-of-a-kind pieces that can’t be sold effectively online. I am fortunate enough to share an office with Lancaster County’s Wholesale Mall, and was able to gain some insight into this trend. Their manager Craig Sheaffer notes, “many manufacturers who feature one-of-a-kind items are doing...
Over the past 10 years innovations in the shed industry have been minimal. The change from wood to vinyl, and other small innovations regarding insulation, siding, and roofing are among a few. Over the course of 2015, however, consumers have taken the storage shed in an interesting new direction. What many are dubbing “Shedquarters,” ( Pro.Com Blog ), adding a room to the backyard is the biggest trend of 2015. Rather than struggle with the hassle and expense of a home addition, homeowners are opting to turn a storage shed into a spare room right in their backyard. Be it a spare bedroom, an...
2015 has been an interesting year in furniture design. I am given the pleasure of updating manufacturer profile pages with new products, and attending trade shows where manufacturers showcase their newest pieces. Being relatively new to the wholesale market, it has been very interesting getting the opportunity to follow furniture trends over the year,(and noticing how out of touch I am with my apartment furniture). As I was browsing the booths at the 2015 All American Furniture Expo with a friend, I noticed a new stain that had a presence in multiple manufacturer booths. The name of the stain...
In 2008 after the American economy crashed, imports became an extremely attractive option to wholesale buyers and retail consumers. Consumers were willing accept a lower quality product due to the drastically lower prices imports offered. Almost 8 years later, a lot has changed in the wholesale market, and consumers are looking for the quality that goes along with American-made Products. In a recent study done by www.consumerreports.com , 8 in 10 American consumers say they would rather buy an American-made product than an imported one. This is partly to do with the economy being on the rise...
As the wholesale market for outdoor products, furniture, and crafts continues to evolve, wholesale shows and expos remain a staple in our community. When I began working in wholesale I anticipated the market, like most other markets, to be dominated by online advertising and promotion. I was surprised to find that many of the manufacturers I would be dealing with wouldn’t have their own websites, and rely almost entirely on wholesale shows for their advertising. So, after all these years, what keeps wholesale shows relevant? First and foremost, wholesale shows give buyers the opportunity to...
The Keystone Wholesale shows were formed in 2002 with the primary purpose of helping our local plain businesses sell their products to wholesale buyers from across the country. While they still have a passion for the plain communities, they now include manufacturers from all over the country. In March of 2015 the partners at Keystone decided it was time to take a step back from the shows to give them more time to spend with their grandchildren. They put the Keystone Wholesale Shows on the market, with the intent of finding a buyer with the same passion for quality, American Made products that...
Bird-in-Hand Pet Structures is the manufacturer of quality, Amish-made chicken coops, rabbit hutches, and run-in sheds. During their many years of business their customers have expressed a strong interest in a reliable chicken coop door opener. They have tried the doors available on the market, but they always left customers wanting more. After years of frustration BIH Pet designed their own line of automatic chicken coop door openers, and are confident that they are a vast improvement to what the market has to offer. The Bird-in-Hand Pet Structures Auto Door comes in basic and advanced...
Lapp Welding Shop is the manufacturer of the popular Speedway Express Wagons, and their custom “Lapp Dumper Wagons.” The Lapp Dumper Wagon is a heavy-duty wagon carefully manufactured to handle large workloads, and last for years. In comparison to the more traditional garden hauling equipment, the Lapp Dumper Wagon makes hauling large loads easy, and unloading them even easier. Each Dumper wagon features a heavy duty latch and handle combination that makes dumping soil, mulch, and other materials easier than ever. Customers are presented the option of a poly or aluminum tub, both of which are...
We are very proud how far All American Wholesalers has come over the last four months since our June 1 st launch. That being said, if there is anything we can do to improve this site in any way, please fill...
